Riot on an empty street

From Kings of Convenience. an album of guitar and voice.
remind me of sunshine , on that Christmas morning.

  Weight of my words   Lyric

 There are very many things
I would like to say to you,
but I’ve lost my way
and I’ve lost my words.
There are very many places
I would like to go,
but I can’t find the key
to open my door.
The weight of my words
you can’t feel it anymore.
The weight of my words
you can’t feel it anymore.
There are very many ways
I would like to break the spell
you’ve cast upon me.
‘Cause all the time
I sacrificed myself
to make you want me,
has made you hant me.
The weight of my words
you can’t feel it anymore.
The weight of my words
you can’t feel it anymore.
The weight of my words
you can’t feel it anymore.
There are very many things
I would like to say to you,
but I’ve lost my way
and I’ve lost my words.
There are very many places
I would like to go,
but I can’t find the key
to open my door.

someone in a chat room sent me this the other day, and I suffered through dialup to listen to it just now, and wow was it worth it. this song is so beautiful.

"there are very many places

to open my door,"

damn. theme of my life right there.

seems to me to be about wishing you could reach someone so badly, but seeing that no matter what you say, the person won’t hear a damn word of it, because they simply don’t care anymore. then again, maybe they never cared to begin with. *looks at comment above hers*
