Chris Botti，小号手，人年轻音乐资历却已十分丰富。十岁开始演奏，高中时开始职业生涯；早期曾与萨克斯风手George Coleman、小号手Woody Shaw等爵士乐传奇人物合作。这些人的音乐常剑走偏锋，Botti在这段期间的收获反映在他演奏时不温不火的声调与天马行空的创意。随后Botti转战流行音乐圈。受过爵士乐的洗礼，Botti不甘生涯仅止于泡泡糖般的流行声响，合作的对象均为「言之有物」的流行乐坛大将；如巴布迪伦Bob Dylan、艾瑞莎法兰克林Aretha Franklin、保罗赛门Paul Simon与史汀Sting等角色。从他曾合作过的对象，听者即使还不认识他，也应可以从中建立起某种「信任」，因为Chris Botti不像是会随便玩音乐的泛泛之辈.
这是Chris Botti第六张个人专辑，Botti的小号演奏依旧锐利，稍带阴沉却丰富温暖的音色让整张专辑听起来十分让人放松〈Laid-Back〉。曲目筛选部份看的出Botti的品味，自创曲与标准曲各半，”Indian Summer”、”The Look of Love”(与歌手香岱儿合作)、”My Funny Valentine”皆为大家熟悉的旋律。音乐演奏的感觉不带任何压力，喜欢Smooth Jazz的听者可以尽情放松的享受；然而仔细听，独到的编曲却仍旧会受到硬蕊〈Hard Core〉爵士乐迷的称许。这可能是种二面手法，但Chris Botti的确作到了二边都讨好的程度。标题曲”Thousand Kisses Deep”为诗人歌手Leonard Cohen作品，是整张专辑的高潮所在，Botti的小号演奏简短却呼应了每位乐手的提问，是一首轻易让听者陷入其中的演出。

To my friends,
On October 18th, Columbia Records officially released my latest CD, "To Love
Again". I am extremely proud of this recording. Not only did I get to
perform with the greatest and most unique singers in the world, but I also was
able to make another album with the great arrangers, musicians and engineers
that I worked with on "When I Fall In Love".
My focus has always been, and will always be, to put all of my efforts towards
recording the best songs, with the best musicians and arrangers that I
possibly can.
In the past few weeks, I have heard many fans complain about the software
Columbia included on my new CD. Unfortunately, I only learned of the problem
from reports in the newspapers. I was as shocked and surprised as anyone. No
one at Sony Music ever mentioned to me or my management that this software
would be included on the CD. I am deeply sorry for any inconvenience this
software issue may have caused any of you.
Executives at Sony Music have assured me that these "infected" discs have been
removed from the shelves and inventories of record stores and distributors.
They have also told me Sony Music has offered to replace all "infected" copies
sold. I am continuing to monitor their progress on these fronts. It is
extremely important to me that the record company treat you fairly and solve
this problem. While my focus has always been on my music, I will do whatever
is in my power to make sure you can have confidence in my CDs.
